PANATTA AND THE NEW PICKLEBALL COURTS
The Play it pickleball courts were the protagonists of a memorable day, on October 14th 2023, in Treviso, at the Adriano Panatta Racquet Club.
The legend of the Italian tennis who gives his name to the club, the legendary Adriano Panatta, was there. He is the only Italian who won a Slam, Roland Garros, in 1976, before Jannik Sinner's recent victory at the Australian Open. On 1976 Panatta deserved also the gold in the Davis Cup.
The history of the tennis in Italy is linked to the name of Panatta, who also is flexible towards overseas innovations, such as the pickleball.
In our country the Italian Pickleball Association (AIP) exists since only six years and recently this extraordinary sport has become increasingly popular among enthusiasts people, who are growing in number every day.
On October 14th 2023, the Play it pickleball courts were inaugurated at the Treviso Club with an open tournament that tested the efforts and the passion of the athletes, including Panatta himself who played together with three other great athletes.
Paolo Bertolucci -who played many doubles matches alongside Adriano, winning a Davis Cup himself- played with him. The fearless opponents were none other than the winner of the Roland Garros in 2010, Francesca Schiavone, paired with Flavia Pennetta who in 2015 obtained the victory in the US Open.
At the end of the awards ceremony, the glasses were raised for a toast among all the athletes. This new sport also deserves a toast: on the Play it courts, the pickleball is amazing, stunning and exciting.

The International Tournament Italy M25 has been played on Play-it® Play Flex surface again for 2020.
Bemelmans Ruben won 4-6 6-2 6-4 against Erler Alexander.
The tournament is once again the massive playground for the best tennis players in the world.
In 2019 the winner was Jannik Sinner (6-0- 7-6), whom now is 36th at ATP Ranking
INTERNAZIONALI DI TENNIS DELLA CITTÀ DI PARMA 2020
Cedrik-Marcel Stebe is the winner of “Internazionali di Tennis Città di Parma” tournament , which was played on Play-it® surfaces.
At the final, which held on 8th November, Cedrik-Marcel Stebe won against Liam Broady.
Despite the difficult moment caused by COVID-19, the tournament took place, while behind dosed doors and complying the anti-contagion rules, at Bruno Raschi Sport hall.
Parma city was the protagonist of the great tennis, with the ATP and Emilia Romagna region support.
FINAL FOUR A1 ON PLAY-IT IN BERGAMO
For the second year in a row, the Lucca Final Four A1 was played on Play-it® surfaces.
The four best italian club, two male and two female, were challenged.
In particular at the male tournament there were: Park Tennis Club Genova-Sporting Club Selva Alta e Ct Vela Messina-Match Ball Siracusa.
At the female tournament there were: Tennis Club Genova 1893-Ct Lucca e Tennis Club Parioli Roma-Tennis Club Prato. Play-it® congratulates the players and above all the winning teams: Sporting Club Selva Alta di Vigevano (male) e il Tennis Club Prato (female).
Kiev: Play-it® arrives in Ucraina
The Ucraina capital choose Play-it surfaces. In 2015 were built five Play-it Confort courts, in Kiev Tennis Academy, frequented by great champions like the Ukrainian tennis player Aleksandr Dolgopolov. You train and you win on Play-it!

A1 Tennis Final in Rovereto
The A1 Tennis Final were played from 7 to 9 Dicember 2012 on PLAY-IT® surfaces. The ItaliaForte dei Marmi Tennis Club took the title in the men’s competition and Prato-ClubNomentano Tennis Club won the women’s race. Play-it® congratulates the players whom provided moments of real agonism.
